"Andy was such a special part of our family's life. I can remember going to the station to wait for Dad and he would always take the time to talk to you and make you feel so very important! He would always pat you on the back and say "What a fine Girl you are." Andy will always be the best memory I have of Windthorst. To me he made Windthorst the best place in the world! He was truly one of the "Great Ones.""

"One of my favorite memories of Andy was when he announced the celebration softball games where families of the community participated. He would always say, "And it is hit up into the heavens in downtown Windthorst, Texas". Great Memories!"

"Andy used to apply the brakes of his old red and white chevy pickup AFTER putting it in park. The griding of the transmission could be heard across the street."
